Lazy Monk Travel Cafe

The best part of this place is the little Shiv-Shakti Mandir at the back of the cafe. Calming vibes and suitable for meditation. Other than that, nice mountain views, good surroundings and living arrangement, food was good too, caretakers were kind and cooperative. Overall, a good experience but some of the staff members were rude.

During my visit to Dharamshala, I stopped by this "Lazy Monk Travel" café tucked away in the hills, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of my trip. The atmosphere was peaceful and laid-back, with a mix of travelers, locals, and digital nomads enjoying the mountain views and mellow music. The staff were warm and friendly, and I want to thanks to Vishal who works on the reception and service was Good but attentive, which fit perfectly with the chilled-out vibe of Dharamshala. The prices were reasonable, especially considering the quality and the view.

We had multiple meals here over a span of 6 days since we were staying next door, and every food item was great. Especially loved the paneer butter masala, mushroom masala and ginger lemon honey tea. The staff is very friendly. The cafe is surrounded by trees and a view of the mountains. In the evenings, it can get a bit windy and cold so carry a jacket with you!

Absolutely loved the place and the vibe! I booked the Indrahar Pass trek through them and it turned out to be a once-in-a-lifetime experience. I recommend this place wholeheartedly to anyone looking for an authentic and memorable adventure.
